The best way to reach your audience is simply by texting them. That's why we want to make sure you have the best possible experience sending those texts with the latest and greatest that texting technology has to offer. We have added five new features to help you continue delivering more effective and personalized digital outreach than ever before:
Never miss out on new features again! After a release, a purple dot will appear by the Help Menu in your portal. Click on the Help menu to see the Release List describing all the new features.
The Switchboard Dashboard has undergone a full redesign!
Quick Navigation features are available on the left side, along with a summary of Account Details.
In the center, users can see important toplines like your Active Opt-Ins (All Opt-Ins minus Opt-Outs), Delivery Rate, Link Click Rate, Unread Message Count, Opt-Ins collected by Keyword & Forms, and overall Opt-in Growth over Time.
In the top left, users will see their Switchboard number & contact card.
Clients who have collected their opt-ins on paper or a non-Switchboard based form could unknowingly have landlines in their lists. Now, you can quickly check your lists for only 1 cent/contact to remove any landlines.
After the landline scrub, you can rest assured that you are not spending money texting contacts who will not receive the message.

You can now customize your Switchboard Shareable Contact Card, also known as a .vcf card, in your portal. Head to Tools > Acct Info > Edit Vcard to add a photo, email, webpage, physical address, & social media links. You also can choose whether or not Company name or First & Last Name is the primary contact card field.
Finally, users can now attach the Contact Card to a Keyword or Form text confirmation with a single click instead of downloading & attaching it manually.

This new feature makes it even easier to collect opt-ins from your audience. After you create a Keyword, you have the option to create a hyperlink for that Keyword. You can share this hyperlink anywhere on the web — social media, an email, a blog, on your website, and more!
The Keyword Hyperlink works just like the Keyword QR Code. When a person clicks the hyperlink, it opens an auto-composed text message on their phone. This message auto-populates your Switchboard phone number & the keyword. The person just has to click send to be opted in!
Keep in mind though - the Keyword Hyperlink will only work when your audience clicks it from their mobile device. It is not desktop compatible.
